Faith Promise Missions

Mesquite Baptist Church has a heart for missions. The month of November will be a chance to familiarize people about the missionaries we support - both at home and abroad. Each Sunday's service will focus on missionaries, their calling, goals, hardships, blessings, and what the Bible says about them. This month will also give people an opportunity to renew their 'Faith Promise' commitment.

'Faith Promise' is what our church relies on to guide our giving each year. Members seek God's will regarding their monthly contributions over the next year. After seeking God's guidance, members will anonymously fill out a 'Faith Promise' commitment card with the amount they feel the Lord has led them to contribute solely to missions. Once the total for each month is calculated, the church can then, with the Lord's guidance, determine what the church wide giving to missions should be.

Currently, our commitment to missions is over $800 per week.

Much of the world has never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Without missionaries going out into the highways and hedges, many people would not learn how to make heaven their home by asking the Lord to become their personal savior. Please pray to seek how the Lord would lead you to participate in giving to missions; He will truly bless you for it!
